And we left to the north

The time has come, Sunday, June 30, last fun bustle around the breakfast table before The departure.
After everyone had helped to tidy everything up, it was all done quickly and then it was time to leave.
A big hug to everyone and we leave, an hour earlier than expected.
Sunday, June 30 10 am Phoca Mobil and her crew “Kim & Jan” are leaving on their big journey.
A journey that has been awaiting 5 years has taken a lot of preparation and energy, but finally and much faster than expected “there is.”

Planning: we first drive to the North Cape as quickly as possible to see the midnight sun.
We stay in the north to be able to see the Northern Lights again at the end of September.
But first come first, see the midnight sun.

Phoca drives on the day of departure to Hamburg as planned, because Jan did not want to pass Hamburg in a Monday morning rush hour, everything goes smoothly, quiet traffic jam free.
Once past Hamburg, looking for a place to sleep is easily found, we do not need any facilities, just peace and preferably a peaceful environment. We sleep that night in Neumünster. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are quiet driving days, as we only take the ferry on Wednesday afternoon in Grenaa to arrive in Varberg Sweden.
Once in Sweden it is time again to fulfill the mission of the day and to find a nice place to sleep, something my wife Kim is pretty good at. Via small lanes we arrive at a deserted pebble beach, a beautiful spot with fantastic sea views. We have decided to drive through the middle of Sweden to the North, namely via the E45.
A miscalculation of size, not much difference in kilometers.
But in driving comfort, a big turnoff, it really is a slow road.
From village to village, a road where just 2 large campers can cross each other.
No, not recommended if it has to go fast.
Furthermore, pretty of landscape and nature.

After 4 driving days we arrive in Finland, to enter Norway one day later.
Now to the North Cape and the next adventure can begin.
The North Cape is reached 2 days later, in the fog, very dense fog
Only the men from the entrance to the North Cape see us coming, of course they may receive the entrance. NOK 570 for a 24-hour access.
First goal achieved, the North Cape.
