So put the brakes on, with driving days of on average 50 km, there is soon time for exercise.<br \/>\nA hiking day is planned, we are going to look at the oksfjord glacier.<br \/>\nA walk of 6 km only, so 12 km up and down, that is a breeze for us.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/20190717_163610-1024x485.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"330\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3316\"><br \/>\nSome gut feeling tells me to take enough food and drink with me.<br \/>\nAnd yes, gut feeling is right.<br \/>\nAfter 2 hours of walking on bad paths with slippery rocks and roots we reach the stop in between at 3 km.<br \/>\nOn to the glacier, after another 2 hours and 1.5 km we reach a rocky outcrop that we don&#8217;t want to cross, we also have to go back.<br \/>\nHere we stop at 500 meters from the glacier.<br \/>\nThere is no more coming through.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3318\" srcset=\"https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-1024x577.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-600x338.jpg 600w, https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-768x433.jpg 768w, https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-696x392.jpg 696w, https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3-746x420.jpg 746w, https:\/\/phoca-mobil.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Oksfjord-glestjer-3.jpg 1028w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><br \/>\nGain some strength with a healthy sandwich and biscuits to get that whole piece back over rocks, rubble fields, shrubs and all other junk to get back to our camper &#8220;Bakkie&#8221;<br \/>\n5 pm, we return home safely, tired and satisfied.
